This will be My Method presents a group exhibition highlighting the creativity and unique perspectives of Bronx-based visual artists from the progressive art studio, ArTech Collective. Featuring a wide range of media -including painting, sculpture, mixed media, and textiles- the exhibition celebrates the rich diversity of artistic expression nurtured within the studio’s creative community.

The participating artists draw deeply from their personal lives, interests, and histories to create works that are bold, expressive, and wholly unique. Whether exploring historical characters, popular culture or the everyday, each artist channels their ideas into visual forms that reflect their artistic visions.

More than a display of technical skill, This will be My Method reveals the rich inner worlds of its creators. Every piece stands as a statement and celebration of individual style and voice, supported and inspired by a collaborative art-studio dynamic.

Founded by the nonprofit AHRC New York City, ArTech Collective is a progressive art studio that provides opportunities for artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities to express themselves creatively and expand their practice through artistic development. ArTech empowers artists by providing studio spaces, art supplies, and access to a community of peers and mentors. For more information about ArTech Collective visit, www.artechcollective.com.
